Terms

These terms cover this website and my website-building service. I’m Farhad Mojirsheibani, a one-person business in Redlands, California. Questions: [email protected].

If we work together, we sign a short written agreement first. Where it says something different from this page, the written agreement wins.

Using this website

  • Project pages describe my own projects, prototypes, previews and a public waitlist. Each one is labeled with its real status. A demo shows my work; it isn’t a promise that a project is for sale or will suit every use.
  • The example café and salon are made-up businesses built as demonstrations, each one creative direction among many. Their buttons and forms don’t send anything.
  • The words, designs, 3D art and code on this site are mine unless the credits below say otherwise. Please don’t copy them as your own.
  • Links to other websites are for your convenience. Their own terms and privacy policies apply there.

Quotes and prices

  • The quiz and the price builder show prices from my price list. They are estimates to help you decide, not a contract. The price you pay is the one in our written agreement, and it doesn’t change once we both agree to it.
  • Price list: a one-page website is $600; each extra page adds $250; extra tools are priced on the Prices page.
  • Tools included with every size: a one-page website includes 1 tool you pick, two pages include 2, three pages include 4, and each page after that adds one more. They are part of each package’s price. The price shown next to a tool is what it costs when you add it beyond the ones included.
  • Intro price: while it runs, new website projects cost $100 less than the price list above (so a one-page website is $500, and $600 after it ends). It covers my first 25 websites; after that, the price list applies. The intro price is for the one-time build price, not monthly care or outside costs. A price already agreed in writing keeps the intro price.
  • Hosting: included, with no monthly fee. I put your site on a hosting plan that costs nothing for a normal small-business site. If your site ever needed paid hosting (a very large store, for example), I would tell you and agree it with you before anything is charged.
  • Not included: your web address (domain), usually about $10 to $25 a year, which you buy in your own name, and any outside services you choose, like a booking app, an ordering service or a store’s payment fees. You pay those companies directly.

How a project works

  • Before you pay anything, the written agreement gives you my legal name, my business street address, the price, what is included, the timing and the refund and cancellation terms.
  • Payment: half to start, and the second half after you approve the site and before it goes live.
  • Timing: I plan for about 7 to 10 business days after I have your words and photos, and the written agreement states the delivery estimate. If I can’t meet it, I tell you before it passes and you can choose to wait or cancel, as the agreement sets out.
  • Changes: one round of changes is included before the site goes live. More rounds, or new work after launch, are quoted first.
  • Your content: you confirm you have the right to use the words, photos and logos you give me. I use them only for your site.
  • Ownership: once the site is paid in full, it is yours. Your web address and accounts stay in your name, and I hand everything over when we finish.
  • My portfolio: I only show your site as an example of my work if you say yes.
  • If the project stops: the written agreement says what happens to the first payment and the work done so far.

Monthly care (optional)

  • Basic care: $49 a month, or $490 a year. A monthly check that your pages, forms and links work; Software and security updates; One small edit a month, like new hours, prices or a photo.
  • Extra care: $99 a month, or $990 a year. Everything in Basic care; Up to 1 hour of changes a month, like a new section or a seasonal menu; A short monthly summary of visits and messages.
  • A monthly plan renews every month and a yearly plan every year, at the price above, until you cancel. There is no minimum term. You choose a plan in writing, and I send you a copy of these terms and how to cancel before the first payment. If the price ever changes, I tell you before it applies.
  • Cancel any time by email to [email protected]. I confirm by email, and the plan stops at the end of the month or year you already paid for. Your website keeps working.
  • For a yearly plan, I email you before it renews.

Disclaimers and liability

This website is provided “as is”. For paid work, the written agreement sets what I deliver. To the maximum extent the law allows, my total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid me in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you haven’t paid me anything. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can’t be limited.

Governing law

California law governs these terms.

Accessibility

I want this site to be easy for everyone, including older visitors and people who use a keyboard or a screen reader. I aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2, level AA): large text, strong contrast, keyboard access and clear labels. Automated accessibility checks run on every release, and I test the main paths with a keyboard. If anything is hard to use, email [email protected] and I will fix it or help you another way.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, I update this page and the date at the top. Changes never alter an agreement we have already signed.
