Privacy

This page has two parts: how this website (my portfolio and my website service) handles information, and the privacy policy for Daryl, a private tool I built for my own YouTube work.

This website is run by me, Farhad Mojirsheibani, a one-person business in Redlands, California. Questions or requests: [email protected]. This policy takes effect on October 8, 2026.

The short version

  • I only get your name and contact details if you send me a quote, a price or a message.
  • I use them only to reply about your website. I never sell or share them, and there are no ads on this site.
  • This site sets no cookies of its own and loads nothing from other companies: no trackers, no ad scripts, no outside fonts.
  • Ask me any time and I will delete what you sent.

What I collect, and why

  • When you press “Send my quote”, “Send my price” or “Send message”: your name, your email address or phone number, and, if you add them, your business name and a note. With a quote or price I also get your quiz answers or the pages and tools you picked, and the price worked out from them. If you arrived from my business card’s QR code, a short tag (“card”) shows me that. I use all of this only to reply about your website.
  • Anonymous counts: to see whether the site works, my server counts a few events, like “a page was viewed”, “the prices were opened” or “a quote was sent”, with the page address and which button was used. No cookies, no IDs, no IP addresses and nothing that identifies you.
  • Technical data: like every website, the host (Cloudflare) receives your IP address and browser type with each visit to deliver the page and block attacks. My own code does not store them.
  • I don’t collect payment details, passwords, your location or anything from your device.

Who receives it

  • Cloudflare hosts the site and stores what you send in a private database that only I can open (with a secret key). It also keeps the anonymous counts.
  • Resend delivers what you send to my email inbox and, if it is switched on, one short “I got your message” email to you.
  • Both act only on my instructions. Nobody else receives your information, unless the law requires me to share it.
  • I don’t sell or share personal information, and I don’t use it for advertising or to train AI.

Cookies and browser storage

This site sets no cookies of its own. A few small notes are kept in your own browser so the site works the way you expect. They are never sent to me unless you press Send:

  • Your light or dark choice (if you pick one in the footer): kept until you clear your browser’s site data.
  • Your quiz answers and progress, so a refresh doesn’t lose them: kept only until you close the tab.
  • The price you built, carried to the contact page when you press “Next: add your details”: read once, then removed.
  • The “card” tag from the business-card QR code: kept until you close the tab.

Cloudflare may set its own small security cookies to tell people from bots. They are needed to deliver the site safely and are not used for advertising.

If something doesn’t stick: the site works even when your browser blocks site data. You would only lose the remembered light or dark choice and quiz progress after a refresh. To clear these notes, use your browser’s settings: in Safari, Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data; in Chrome, Settings → Privacy and security → Site data. Private or incognito windows forget them when closed.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” signal, this site counts nothing from your visit. No one else can follow you across websites through this site, because it loads no outside scripts, ads or trackers.

How long I keep it

What you send stays in my private database and my inbox so I can look after your project, until you ask me to delete it. Anonymous counts are kept by Cloudflare for three months. Cloudflare’s own technical logs follow Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Your choices

  • See, correct or delete what you sent: email [email protected]. I will do it and confirm by email within 30 days, usually much sooner.
  • Prefer not to use the form? Email me directly instead. Nothing is saved on this site then.
  • I don’t send newsletters or marketing emails.

How it is protected

Everything travels over HTTPS. The database is private, and the page where I read inquiries needs a long secret key. Spam checks and a limit on how many messages one contact can send protect the form. No system is perfect, so please don’t send passwords or payment details through the form.

Children

This site is for a general audience and not directed at children under 13. I don’t knowingly collect their information. If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian to send the quote or email me for you. If I learn a child under 13 sent me information, I will delete it.

California residents

I am a one-person business far below the size at which the California Consumer Privacy Act applies. You can still ask me what I hold about you and have it deleted, as above. I don’t share personal information with anyone for their direct marketing.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, I will update it here and change the date at the top. If a change affects information you already sent me, I will email you about it first.

Daryl privacy policy

This policy covers Daryl, a private assistant I built for my own work as the creator behind Sheibani on YouTube. Daryl is not a product or a public service. It has no users other than me and it does not accept sign-ups.

Who this applies to: only me. Daryl signs in to Google with my own account. Nobody else signs in to it, so none of the data described here belongs to anyone visiting this page.

What Daryl accesses

  • Gmail (compose and modify): reads my mail to find sponsorship conversations and creates drafts in my Drafts folder. Daryl does not send email on its own.
  • YouTube Data API (read only): reads my channel statistics.
  • YouTube Analytics API (read only): reads performance data for my own channel.

How the data is used

  • Drafting sponsorship emails that I review before anything is sent.
  • Keeping outreach organized, including which brands have already been contacted.
  • Answering my questions about my channel with current numbers.
  • Remembering useful facts about my work in a private database only I control.

What the data is never used for: selling or sharing with anyone; advertising, tracking or profiling; training any AI model.

Google’s rules: Daryl’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Daryl uses YouTube API Services: by using it, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s handling of data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. Access can be removed at any time at Google’s security settings.

Storage and deletion: Daryl keeps its working data (the contact log, batch history and memory) in a private Supabase project I own. Login tokens are stored as encrypted Cloudflare Worker secrets. I can remove all of it at any time by revoking access at myaccount.google.com/permissions and deleting the database.

Services Daryl relies on: Google (Gmail and YouTube APIs), Cloudflare (hosting and secrets), Supabase (database), Anthropic (Claude API), Voyage AI (embeddings), Hunter.io and Exa (finding public business contact information for sponsorship outreach), and Brave Search (web search). Each is governed by its own privacy policy.
