About us

The ovens go on at four. The doors open at seven.

The Morning Table started as a Saturday bread stall and a borrowed oven. Today it is a thirty-seat bakery and coffee bar on 41 Linden Row, with flour and milk from people we know and one big table in the middle of the room. Pull up a chair.

  • Two coffee cups on the long table in morning light.
  • A brown-butter croissant on a speckled plate.
  • Pastries, coffee and loaves laid out on a linen cloth, seen from above.
